Rosen Method Open Center (RMOC) Scholarship and Financial FAQs

We have two different scholarships available for RMOC students.

  1. Financial Assistance Scholarships are applied for one event at a time. You will need to re-apply for any additional event you wish to attend.

Application for Bodywork Programs here. Application for Movement Trainings here.

  2. The Inclusion and Equity Scholarship covers the tuition cost for professional certification and is available for full training to become a certified bodywork practitioner or movement teacher.

You are eligible for only one program at a time. You may apply for a Financial OR an Inclusion and Equity Scholarship.

Which RMOC scholarship should I apply for?

What does a Rosen Method Open Center Inclusion and Equity scholarship (RMOC IES) cover?

RMOC IE Scholarship is awarded for one student per year who will receive free tuition only for the certification program in either Rosen Method bodywork or Rosen Method movement. The scholarship cannot be applied to travel or other incidental costs associated with attending. The scholarship is for RMOC sponsored events only. One event at another Rosen Method center can count toward certification at the RMOC; payment for events at another Rosen Method center are not included in the RMOC IE Scholarship. If you apply for this scholarship, it will apply only to future tuition costs and no reimbursement for past tuition costs will be included in the scholarship.

Inclusion and Equity Scholarships awards are for tuition costs towards certification only.

You may apply for financial assistance more than once.

For Rosen Movement $100- $300 (maximum) scholarship is awarded for each accepted student per intensive. For each Rosen Movement Intensive up to $1000 is available for distribution. Each student is able to receive up to $1,000 in scholarship money during their movement training.

For Rosen Bodywork financial scholarship awards are approximately 1/3 or less of the tuition costs per workshop or intensive. One financial scholarship is awarded per intensive.

May I apply for multiple scholarships?

Who decides whether I receive a scholarship?

Scholarship applications are reviewed by the RMOC Scholarship Committee made up of Rosen Method Bodywork practitioners and/or Rosen Method Movement teachers, and one Senior Teacher.

If my application is not accepted, can I reapply for my next RMOC event?

Yes, you are welcome to reapply for RMOC Financial assistance for subsequent events if your application is not accepted.

The RMOC will keep your scholarship application on file in our secure Google Drive.

  2. If you have been accepted for the RMOC IE Scholarship your information will be stored in your student file until your certification.
